Experience the great migration and spot the Big Five in Kenya's premier wildlife reserve.
The Maasai Mara National Reserve is one of Africa's most famous safari destinations and one of the best places to see the Big Five—the five iconic wild animals originally considered the hardest for hunters to track on foot, but now the most sought-after safari sightings.
The Maasai Mara has one of Africa's densest lion populations. Lions live in prides and are often seen resting under acacia trees or hunting wildebeest and zebras. The reserve is especially famous for large prides such as the Marsh Pride. Lion sightings are among the easiest in the Mara.
These are the largest land mammals on Earth. In Maasai Mara, elephants travel in family groups led by older females (matriarchs). They are commonly spotted near rivers and woodland areas.
Leopards are solitary, shy, and usually seen in trees or thick bushes. Maasai Mara is one of Kenya's best locations for leopard sightings, especially along riverbanks.
Buffalo move in large herds and are among the most dangerous animals in Africa because of their unpredictable behavior. They are abundant throughout the reserve.
The rarest of the Big Five in Maasai Mara. The reserve is one of the few places in Kenya with an indigenous black rhino population. Rhino sightings are less common and require patience.
Get up close with majestic elephants with Mount Kilimanjaro as your backdrop.
Amboseli National Park is one of Kenya's most iconic safari destinations and is world-famous for its elephants and spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro.
Amboseli is often called the "Land of Giants" because it is home to some of Africa's largest-tusked elephants ("super tuskers"). The ecosystem has one of the best-studied elephant populations in the world, with continuous elephant research since 1972 through the Amboseli Elephant Research Project. Over 3,900 individual elephants have been monitored over generations.
The elephant population in the Amboseli ecosystem is estimated at around 1,800–1,900 elephants, making it one of Kenya's best places for close elephant encounters.
Besides elephants, you may also see: Lions, Cheetahs, Buffalo, Giraffes, Zebras, Hyenas, Hippos, and over 400 bird species.
Relax on pristine white sand beaches with crystal clear waters and luxury resorts.
Diani Beach is one of Kenya's top coastal holiday destinations, famous for its white sandy beaches, turquoise waters, and relaxed tropical atmosphere along the Indian Ocean.
Diani stretches for about 17 kilometers of soft white sand lined with palm trees, making it ideal for relaxation, beach walks, and sunbathing.
Diani offers many ocean adventures:
Nearby Wasini Island excursions often include dolphin spotting, coral reef snorkeling, and seafood experiences.
Diani has a wide range of accommodation: beach resorts, boutique villas, budget stays, and honeymoon lodges.
Challenge yourself with an adventure to the second highest mountain in Africa.
Mount Kenya is Africa's second-highest mountain after Mount Kilimanjaro, rising to 5,199 meters (17,057 ft) at Batian Peak. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Kenya's best adventure destinations, offering trekking, climbing, wildlife, and alpine scenery.
Mount Kenya has diverse landscapes: dense forest, bamboo zones, moorlands, alpine meadows, glaciers and rocky peaks.
Inside Mount Kenya National Park: Elephants, Buffalo, Colobus monkeys, Antelopes, Unique alpine birds
Witness millions of flamingos creating a pink carpet on the lake's shallow waters.
Lake Nakuru National Park is one of Kenya's most famous wildlife parks, best known for its flamingos, rhino sanctuary, and scenic lake views in the Great Rift Valley.
Lake Nakuru became globally famous for its large flamingo populations, sometimes creating a pink shoreline effect around the alkaline lake. The number of flamingos changes with water levels, algae growth, and season, so sightings vary through the year. You may see Lesser flamingos (more common) and Greater flamingos.
The park is one of Kenya's leading rhino conservation areas and offers excellent sightings of Black rhinoceros and White rhinoceros.
Besides flamingos, expect: Lions, Leopards, Buffalo, Rothschild's giraffes, Zebras, Waterbucks, Baboons.
Experience unique wildlife and engage with the indigenous Samburu community.
Samburu National Reserve offers a unique safari experience that combines wildlife viewing with rich cultural encounters among the Samburu people, a Nilotic community closely related to the Maasai people.
A Samburu cultural safari blends traditional game drives with visits to local Samburu villages, where visitors can learn about customs, dress, livestock traditions, and daily life.
Traditional Village Visits: You can visit a Samburu manyatta (homestead) to experience traditional dances and songs, beadwork and handmade crafts, traditional housing design, storytelling and local customs.
Samburu Dress and Beadwork: The Samburu are known for colorful clothing, elaborate bead necklaces, and decorative ornaments that reflect age, status, and community identity.
Livestock Culture: Cattle, goats, and camels are central to Samburu life and social structure.
Samburu is also famous for rare northern Kenya wildlife, including the "Samburu Special Five": Grevy's zebra, Reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, Beisa oryx, Gerenuk.
You may also see elephants, lions, leopards, and crocodiles along the Ewaso Ng'iro River.
